186 – Bridge Over the Athabasca

This bridge sees a large volume of transport, logging and oil trucks cross the Athabasca River to and from northern Alberta on the daily.  The Athabasca is part of waterway originating in the Columbia Icefield in the Canadian Rockies then traveling 1231 km to Lake Athabasca and emptying into another river carrying water to Great Slave Lake and the Arctic Ocean.
