182 – A Canadian Appetizer

While eastern Canada is getting hammered with blizzards, Albertans have been enjoying a mid-February Spring appetizer.  Out and about on the trails today, I was able to strip off my hoody and roam around in just a t-shirt for part of the afternoon, and start working on that tan.  I ended up running across a portion of the Trans Canada Trail, which allowed me to feel a brief connection to home, New Brunswick, on the opposite side of the country, where I traversed that area of the trail many times.

When locating the link to the official website of the Trans Canada Trail, I came across information stating that the trail has been promoted as ‘The Great Trail’ since 2016, though I see nothing wrong with the former.  Either way, the trail signage tells a different story and needs to be replaced for this promotion campaign to truly succeed.
