157 – The City Market

This beautiful building hosts a city market in Canada’s oldest incorporated city that has withstood the test of time and even the Great Fire of 1877 that blazed all around it.  The roof resembles an inverted keel of a ship, reminiscent of a city that was once a world leader in shipbuilding.  In the time I spent in this city, this market was always my main destination for grocery shopping with fresh meat and seafood markets inside, vegetable stands and much more.
