99 – The Big Freeze

The process has begun and Lesser Slave Lake has started to freeze.  I first noticed some icy waves slowly brushing up against the shore a few days ago, and now the ice has started to form on the surface, around the perimeter of Alberta’s second largest lake.  It will only be a matter of time before the fishing shacks start going up on one the province’s best walleye fisheries in a true Canadian winter wonderland.
