In the middle of an extremely busy week, as it always is for me this time of the year in Saint John, I was blessed with a snow day. Deeming this event a blessing may be debatable to some, but with a full week of teaching booked and back and forth between casual jobs every other evening, it was very much welcome in my life. It also made for the perfect opportunity to haul out the tripod and capture a couple beautiful, wintery scenes in uptown Saint John, via long exposure photographs. Here we have King’s Square, clearly one of my favourite subjects in the city, the evening of our first major snowfall of the year.
May the thousands of New Brunswickers without power this evening have it restored as quickly as possible – http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/
